A parable — Speech silence

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. The proverb is dry. It does not say the fool became wise. It only says he was counted wise as long as he was quiet. Ask yourself: Have you been speaking — or being counted wise? RED — be honest. Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise (Prov 17:28). Silence is sometimes the only honest answer. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
