A parable — Repent now
parables
A man was told the door was open and would not always be so. He thanked the messenger and said he would come tomorrow, for tonight he had business. The next day he had more business; the day after, the same. He grew old in his business and arrived at the door one evening. It was still open, but he had spent his strength on the business, and could barely cross the threshold. Ask yourself: What business are you finishing before you turn? GOD — wait does not mean delay. Today is the day of salvation; the door is open now, not later. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
