A parable — Parent child

parables

The son took his inheritance and spent it in a far country, and when he returned with nothing, the father saw him a great way off, and ran. The father did not wait for the apology to begin running. The running was the apology accepted. Ask yourself: For whom are you waiting on the road — and what would your running mean to them? BROTHERS — the witnesses run. When he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran (Lk 15:20). (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
