A parable — Isostasy
A mountain stood tall above the plain, and the men of the plain envied it. They did not see that beneath the mountain, hidden in the earth, were roots seven times its height. When they tried to be a mountain by being only tall, they did not last the winter. Ask yourself: What invisible roots are holding up what you call your height? BROTHERS — every visible peak rests on a structure of witnesses and support. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
