A parable — Temptation

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man. The new temptation you fear is not new — only newly aimed at you. With the temptation, the same road has a door. The door is sometimes a closed mouth, sometimes a phone face-down, sometimes a friend's number. Ask yourself: What is the door this time — and is it within your reach? FLOOR — protect what cannot recover. God will make a way of escape (1 Cor 10:13). Find the door before the room is dark.
