A parable — Imposter

A young scribe was given the seal of the king and told to write in his name. He wrote, but at every line he expected the king to come and say, 'You are not me.' The king never came. The seal had been the answer to the question he could not stop asking. Ask yourself: Whose seal is on the work you call yours? GOD — wait on the One whose seal makes the work valid. You are not the source. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
