A parable — Anger slow

A wise man taught: be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. The young men reversed the order each day, and each day they were sorry. The old man said nothing about it. He had learned the order himself, slowly. Ask yourself: Which of the three is fastest in your mouth — and which slowest? RED — be honest about the order. Swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath (Jas 1:19). Most failures are an inversion of these three. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
