A parable — Suffering grief
When his friend died, the Lord did not say, 'do not mourn, for I will raise him.' He wept first. He raised him afterward. The tears were not a failure of faith — they were faith making room for love. Ask yourself: Are you trying to skip past the weeping to get to the raising? GOD — wait. Grief is not lack of faith. Jesus wept (Jn 11:35) and then he acted. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
