A parable — Fear of god
A young man asked an elder, 'Where does wisdom begin?' The elder said, 'At the door of the only one larger than your question.' The young man went to that door and knelt. He did not ask first; he waited. After many days he heard the answer he had not asked for; it was the answer to what his heart had been asking under the question. Ask yourself: At which door have you stood without first asking? GOD — wait. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. The kneeling precedes the question. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
