A parable — Fear death
parables
A man feared the sea his whole life, for he could not see the bottom. One day a child waded out, laughed, and waded back. The depth had not changed. Only the child trusted the One who made the water. Ask yourself: Is the depth what frightens you, or is it that you have not trusted the One who made it? GOD — the resurrection and the life. Fear of death is healed by knowing whose water it is (Jn 11:25). (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
