A parable — Worry children
parables
A mother watched her child run toward the road and called him back a thousand times. By the thousandth call her voice was tired and her child no longer turned. A wise woman sat beside her and said, 'You have built the path; now teach him to listen for the One who built you. Your voice was never the rail.' The mother did not stop calling; but she also began to pray. Ask yourself: Whose voice have you been hoping would be your child's rail? GOD — wait. The child you raise belongs to the One you raise them toward. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
