A parable — Hidden sin

A man kept a small fire in his cellar. He never spoke of it; it burned only when he was alone. He told himself it warmed only him and harmed no one. The fire ate the supports of the house slowly, where no one could see. He woke one night to the floor sinking, and only then realized the house had been burning all along. Ask yourself: What is burning in your cellar that you have told yourself harms no one? RED — be honest. Private fires consume public structures. Bring it into the light before the floor sinks.
