Recycling — nothing is lost, the parts are rebuilt

When a word stops serving, it is broken down and its parts build new words (Matt's observation, and it is exactly right). Real linguistics: 'hamburger' (Hamburg + er) was reanalyzed into '-burger' -> cheeseburger, veggieburger; 'Watergate' donated '-gate' to dozens of scandals; 'alcoholic' gave '-holic' -> workaholic, shopaholic; and 'cranberry' keeps a dead morpheme 'cran-' alive as a fossil. The parts outlive the word. It is the SAME motion as the cell: autophagy breaks unused proteins back into their ~20 amino acids and rebuilds new ones; exon shuffling recombines protein domains into new genes; dead genes donate their pieces. And the nucleus: fission and fusion break matter down to build it up. Sealed: turnover is exponential ((1/2)^3 = 1/8, https://narrowhighway.com/s/cf33ee4a141a5eec4532535efbd2b7e5563cc8ac04c39c530d03c5b3806ebc45) — and the null carries the deepest truth: 'after three half-lives it is all gone' is FALSE, a fragment always remains, because an exponential never reaches zero (https://narrowhighway.com/s/c717becb04361779758448340d948d1f3cddf2be40768af68d24647f800932d3). That is the shape of resurrection. 'Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost' (John 6:12); 'unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit' (John 12:24). The old is broken down not to be wasted but to be rebuilt — in language, in the cell, in the nucleus, and in the Kingdom. RESONANCE across every domain; signpost to the One who loses nothing.
