A parable — Meaning lost
parables
A man searched for the meaning of his life under every stone in the field. He turned the field upside down by evening and found nothing. He sat down to weep and saw that the field he had broken had been the meaning. He had been turning the answer over looking for something else under it. Ask yourself: What field have you been digging through, looking for what was already there? GOD — wait. He hath made every thing beautiful in his time; the looking is what we are made for. (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
