A parable — Friendship break

Two men walked together for many years. One day one of them stepped on the other's foot. They argued; then they walked apart. Each told the story to those who would listen, and the story grew. By the time they met again at the marketplace, each carried a version of the other that was not the man before him. The man each had become enemies with did not exist. Ask yourself: Which version of the friend are you angry at? BROTHERS — two or three witnesses (Mt 18:16). The story you have told yourself needs witnesses to test it.
