A parable — Pride status

parables

The Son of God, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God — but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was found in fashion as a man. The highest reputation was held by the one who refused it. Ask yourself: What reputation are you defending that the highest gave up? FLOOR — protect what cannot recover, but not status. The mind of Christ is downward (Phil 2:5-8). (A Narrow Highway original teaching parable — not a parable of Jesus; a made story that carries a true edge.)
