God what is next for me? I look for your light. I can’t see the way. Please make my way known. I do not want to spend my life in the wilderness. I seek your face.

Open the door to my next chapter O’ God. You are mighty. I am your slave. Treat me with mercy although Your judgement is just.

I seek the fault of my heart. I know that it will only be mended and made pure through Christ. I surrender in all things. I glorify you above all in my life.

I have been grafted into the household of God through Christ and it is at that door I knock. I seek your feet. I long to be a son seen as faithful and hear Christ Jesus tell me so have been a good and faithful servant now a son in the family of God Most High.

Less of me Lord. Pour your spirit into me through the refiner’s fire. I have not always faced the fire without discouragement, but I have not turned from God. I seek Him. Only through Him can I stay on the narrow path.

Lord be the light on my path. Make my way straight. Lord Jesus I ask for mercy and haste. I ask for your hand, so I will cross the finish line and not fail your Kingdom.

Lord make me a tool worn to your hand. Keep me sharp for Your enemies or in the construction of Your Kingdom. Use me for the task I was created no matter how low or how high. Let my task be completed to your satisfaction and let my edge never fail you. Keep my temper from failing in the heat of battle. Anoint me with Your oil, so I am not corrupted by this world, but let me overcome to be used again for Your purpose and glory.

Amen.
